The Youth thrive when they have consistent guidance, meaningful opportunities, and a community that believes in what they can become.

Logic Mentoring began as a curriculum-based group mentoring program created to help young people examine their identity, choices, relationships, and goals. The work grew from an understanding that talent alone is not enough. Young people also need practical knowledge, trusted role models, exposure to new possibilities, and opportunities to apply what they learn.

Today, Logic serves youth ages 10–18 through mentoring, personal development, financial literacy, career preparation, leadership training, cultural awareness, and community engagement. We are also developing pathways in coding and computational thinking to help participants prepare for a world increasingly shaped by technology.

Our commitment extends to returning citizens rebuilding their lives after incarceration. Through life-skills education, workforce preparation, and community support, Logic works to help people turn past experiences into lessons, direction, and renewed purpose.

Whether we are working in a school, church, community center, or online learning environment, our purpose remains the same: help people understand their potential, build a practical plan, and move forward with the support of a community that refuses to give up on them.

Logic Mentoring is guided by Sankofa, an African principle that teaches us to return to the past, recover what is valuable, and carry that wisdom forward.

We believe people cannot build a meaningful future without understanding the experiences, decisions, relationships, and conditions that shaped their present. Reflection is not about remaining in the past. It is about learning from it, recognizing one’s value, and making more informed choices moving forward.

That understanding must lead to action. Participants are encouraged to develop useful skills, create value, pursue ownership, build strong relationships, and turn knowledge into opportunities that benefit more than themselves.

For Logic, success is not measured only by personal achievement. Lasting progress occurs when people use what they have learned to strengthen their families, create opportunities for others, and leave their communities better prepared for the next generation.
